Why Provide References? |
High-Q believes what you do not know can hurt, especially when it comes to laboratory water purification. On the surface, charting a course appears to be a matter of making orderly choices from standardized options. However just below the surface, strong cross-currents of fact and fallacy mix with a powerful undertow of politics:
- Laboratory water standards may not be what they seem (see Lab Water Standards tab),
- Technologies that are very effective at large-scale can be worse than useless at laboratory-scale,
- Monitoring some of the most popular systems adequately can cost 3-4 times more than the systems themselves,
- Many widely held beliefs are not valid,
- . . . etc.
Be aware! Whether you are purchasing, operating, or maintaining a water purification system, it is important to be well informed. |

High-Q provides reference files in Acrobat format |
|
Adobe's Acrobat software is widely used to compress files, greatly speed file transfers, and maintain document integrity. You probably already have a free copy of Acrobat Reader on your system, but check your version. The current version is 5.01. If you use an older version, graphic elements may not display correctly. Check your version by selecting its HELP>ABOUT screen and if you need to download a free update directly from Adobe, click the Get Acrobat Reader icon above and select a full-featured version (Search & Accessibility) for your type of system. Be sure to use Adobe's uninstall program to remove any older versions, before completing the installation of the new copy. High-Q can provide you with a current copy of the free Reader on CD-ROM, if you encounter difficulties. |
