Cold-Technology Water Purification
High-Q 200PT System
(Patents Pending)
Overview of Features

No-nonsense – The 200PT system uses standardized, modular components that can be snapped together hydraulically and electrically in various combinations to create a variety of high-quality, practical, water purification systems. 200PT systems are adaptable, convenient, cost-effective, and low-maintenance.

Better & Better – New High-Q 200PT ion-exchange piston cartridges out perform and out last all others! New color-coded, spray/dispenser heads are equipped with swivel quick-disconnect fittings. A new distribution pump maintains constant pressure without a bulky accumulator tank.

High-Q YES Adaptable – 200PT building-block components can be assembled to create a solution for virtually any situation, from a 200PT-MF, single filter unit, to a fully automatic 200PT-RO/IX2 system that can produce one thousand liters per day of sub-micron filtered, deionized, reverse osmosis water (often referred to as Type I Water*). 200PT systems that use more that one stage of purification technology (e.g., filtration, reverse osmosis, deionization, etc.) provide product water after each stage, without modification. Thus, a single 200PT-RO/IX2 system can provide a laboratory with any combination of filtered tap water, reverse osmosis water, or sub-micron filtered, deionized, reverse osmosis water. And, 200PT systems can be easily expanded or reconfigured, should requirements change.
* For a discussion of Type I Water and water standards, see the Lab Water Standards tab.
High-Q YES Convenient – 200PT housings are easily coupled together into functionally complex, but attractive, systems. Specialized, quick-disconnect couplings provide flow logic. A full range of controls and solid-state monitors connect hydraulically to quick-disconnect manifolds on the housings. And 200PT systems can be configured to stand free on a bench, mount on a wall, or attach to adjustable shelving.

High-Q YES Cost-Effective – The 200PT system is doubly cost-effective. The concept of using mass-produced, building-block components is a breakthrough that permits higher quality at low costs. However, the fact that 200PT pressure vessel modules are designed to accept standardized, non-proprietary, discrete expendables is just as important, perhaps more so. Every type of cold-technology is available in the form of a high-grade, competitively priced, standardized cartridge. By conforming to this standard, 200PT systems are far less costly to operate than systems that require proprietary expendables.

High-Q YES Low-Maintenance – The end-point of expendable 200PT components is clearly indicated by monitors, and routine service can be accomplished in minutes. Everything is easily accessible and no specialized training or tools is required. 200PT system components are rugged and, in the unlikely event of a failure, the modular design makes replacement a simple matter.
